On 5 December, Finaref received the 2006 Management & Skills Award from Cegos and Enjeux Les Echos, in collaboration with BFM.
The Management & Skills Awards are presented each year to companies that find original ways to enhance the employability and loyalty of their workforce.
Finaref’s entry consisted of its programme to raise professional standards among call centre staff, along with the various training options available to personnel, including the European Diploma, work-based qualifications (VAE), and the assessment centre approach. Finaref won the award for its innovative approach in combining these programmes. The main goals of these programmes are to: - Enhance staff loyalty through training initiatives and prospects for career advancement within the company and group.
- Place more emphasis on identifying rising stars and achieve better results in this area through formally-structured high-profile assessment centres.
- Help staff to grow in line with the company’s needs through ongoing training (financial literacy, business line training), skills certification (VAE) and promotion (European Sales and Marketing Diploma).
Hubert de Pelet, Chairman of the Management Board, and Sylvie de Paris, HR Director, both stress that to be successful, this approach needs the full support of Finaref’s management and staff.
