Richness is born out of diversity
Wishing to reflect all components of French society within the company, Finaref has been committed for a number of years to equal opportunities, combating discrimination and promoting cultural, ethnic and social diversity. In 2006, the company decided to intensify ifs efforts in these areas. A working group comprising employees with different backgrounds, from different parts of the company drew up an action plan. Béatrice Théry, in charge of training and of the diversity working group, illustrates some of the points in the action plan: "We will further awareness of non-discrimination among ’recruiting managers’, encourage the mentoring of students from minorities, and add a test on ethical management to assessment procedures. Furthermore, Finaref continues to promote the employment of the disabled, and will extend the European bachelor’s degree programme introduced in 2004." The company’s commitment to diversity is measured in our internal satisfaction surveys, the latest of which was held before the summer of 2006. Our intention is to incorporate diversity, with all its facets, into the daily life of the company.
